September 2010: discontinued birth control
September 2010 to December 2010: NTNP, taking it easy for the first while
December 2010 to December 2011: begin actively TTC by beginning to track my cycles. start with BBT and move on to OPKs by summer of 2011. begin to use only OPKs and discontinue tracking BBT
January 30, 2012: started spotting @ 6w5d and then an ultrasound @ 6w6d that showed that there was only a sac and no embryo. D&C to finish pregnancy on Feb 1, 2012. Miscarriage #1
March 2012 to May 2013: bounce between actively TTC, NTNP, taking a break, all without success. become confident in pinpointing ovulation on cervical mucus alone, other than using OPKs once every couple cycles, abandon most forms of tracking other than CM. (march to may 2012 actively ttc; june to august 2012 a break; September to march 2013 actively ttc; march to may 2013 a break; end of may 2013 ntnp; which leads to...)
June 13, 2013: BFP!!! pregnancy #2 discovered @10dpo
July 10, 2013: we go in for an early ultrasound and see heartbeat @ 7w1d
August 2, 2013: begin spotting @ 10w3d and wait out the long weekend. heavier bleeding with clots followed over the weekend while waiting it out. got in for an ultrasound @ 11w0d and were told the baby had stopped growing nearly right after the first ultrasound as it was the size of a 6w6d embryo. D&C later that day to finish the pregnancy on August 6, 2013. Miscarriage #2
August 2013 to Present: actively TTC once again (only avoiding 2 cycles because of due date conflicting with planned travel)
December 2013: get some testing done for the gynecologist in town for recurrent pregnancy loss. everything comes back normal.
April 10, 2014: possible BFP/chemical pregnancy; unconfirmed, only my bbt chart, implantation cramping and a possible bfp test that was read far too long after the 10 minutes, to go off of
July 22 2014: visit my doctor to begin the referral process to see the reproductive endocrinologist. she also prescribed 2 rounds of clomid to try out. we get all our preliminary testing for the RE done by mid September and have an appointment with her to get the results in October.
